Initial Consultation for Permanent hair removal
Important: Once you have booked your consultation please resist removing unwanted hairs by means of waxing and tweezing, shaving and cutting is acceptable in the meantime. At the time of your initial consultation it is important there is enough length for your electrologist to be able to treat and grasp each hair with tweezers, 1-3 days growth is recommended. For some of us however, leaving unwanted hair for this length of time will be an impossibility, with this in mind if you know there will be enough hair growth after 24-48 hours this is fine too. If you are anxious about how to manage your hair growth on the build up to your consultation please contact your electrologist for advise.
Your first electrolysis appointment must be an initial consultation and no more than 10 minutes electrolysis can be performed for your first visit. At your appointment Carrina will carry out a thorough consultation with you, explain how electrolysis works, manage your expectations, predict the best treatment plan for you in terms of length and frequency of appointments. Most questions can be answered by researching this website however all remaining questions will be answered.
Please check the Contra-Indications list to be sure your appointment can commence smoothly.
Initial Consultation for Advanced Electrolysis Blemish Removal
Your initial appointment will be a consultation but does not include any treatment. Treatment of skin blemishes on the day is possible however the amount performed will depend on health conditions and condition of the skin.
Please arrive with no make up on and you should be of a normal bodily temperature (avoid the gym, sunbathing or swimming directly before you appointment).
If you use skin care containing Retinol or Retin A please avoid applying this for 48 hours before your appointment.
Please check the Contra-Indications list to be sure your appointment can commence smoothly.
