Initial Consultation – £25
15 minutes Advanced Diathermy – £50
30 minutes Advanced Diathermy – £100
Your initial appointment will be a consultation plus the possibility of a 15 minute treatment. It is important that no more than 15 minutes advanced diathermy is performed for your first full treatment due to the nature of the blemish and to assess how your skin reacts and heals.
Vascular blemishes will never be cleared in a single session. A minimum of 2 further treatments will be needed to improve vascular blemishes depending on the location, size of area needing treatment, skin type and skin’s reaction to the initial treatment.
At your appointment Carrina will carry out a thorough consultation with you, explain how the treatment will work, manage your exceptions and predict the best treatment plan for you.
Longer bespoke treatments can be discussed at the time of consultation.
Campbell De Morgan and Cherry Angioma
Large blood spots on the body, head and scalp are often known as Campbell de Morgan. While they may be distressing to live with, they are a completely harmless vascular blemish that can easily be removed with diathermy.
Cherry Angioma are small blood spots that are benign vascular blemishes. They can vary in size from small pin dots to as large as a penny; and in colour from bright red to darker tones. Cherry angioma are not painful, but may bleed when scratched and can become distressing, particularly if they are in difficult to mask areas.

Skin Tags
Skin tags are benign, innocuous growths which vary in size, shape and attachment. They are often found in areas where there is friction, such as where the skin creases or clothes rub. Skin tags (technically known as fibro-vascular papilloma) are increasingly common as we age and affect almost half of the population. While they are benign and do not pose any direct risk to your health, skin tags can easily be removed if they are impacting on your self esteem or mental well-being.
Required Treatment for Skin Tags
Your skin tag can easily be removed in a single treatment of diathermy. There are 3 methods of removal created to treat and remove even those in hard to reach places. In most cases the results are instant.

Milia
Milia are tiny white bumps under the skin. These appear mostly on the cheekbones near to the eyes and are formed when sebum becomes trapped in a blind duct, with no surface opening. Advanced electrolysis techniques are most effective when used on Milia causing less damage with less risk of scarring than manual techniques.
Required Treatment for Milia
Diathermy techniques can desiccate the tissue and disperse the Milia, no uncomfortable squeezing is needed resulting in less trauma to the skin.
